apparently only some states allow u to take step 3 before residency?
could anyone tell me which or where i could find info like that?

Connecticut and Texas. There are some other more.

thanks..n if u take it in either of these 2 states it'll be valid in any state in the US?cuz apparently if u take it in some states its only valid in that state.

It doesn't matter where you take it, it will be valid in any state now.

Sure... you just have to select one of those states during application (Cali, Connec, Delaware, Nevada, etc) and send the CID... once you receive the permit call prometric and schedule anywhere inthe US... I registered through Cali and never been there in my life... grin

I am a resident in FM program, in Georgia. Do you think applying to CT is ok? Then thats what ill shoot for!!!
