What are crescents composed of ? What two diseases should you suspect first if crescents are found in the glomerulus?

crescent is composed of fibrin/collagen/monocytes and macrophages. Disease : 1.Good pasture syndrome 2.Post-infectious Some other diseases with vasculitis??

good, look I would look at good pasture and wegners at the same time, Both can present with hemoptysis and renal diseaese. post infections is good expecially in case of adults which progress to chronic glomerulonehpritis and RPGN much more often then children.

yeah your right, I forgot to corect him on it, proliferation of parietal epithelial cell, macrophages, monocytes , and fibrin . Parietal epithelial cells are of squamous origin.
