On the second thought, this choice should be A) Atenolol.
All patients should receive beta-blocker before administrate Nitroprusside.
Please correct me if wrong.

i) nitroprusside. this is hypertensive encephalopathy. bp should be lowered immediately.
Na nitroprusside has instantaneous effect .
