I am just wondering for those who took the exam, did you feel that you had enough time to answer every question? or sometimes you felt that you had to rush it just to finish that section?

I agree with muzammil bhaijaan In Step 1, there is time left for us to concentrate on harder questions; we need to maintain a healthy pace from the start. Good luck! Regards!

So I suppose most of you did not have that feeling of "my god, I could have answered most of the questions correctly only if I was given a little more time? " Comparing the real exam with kaplan's exams, and NBME exams, timewise, are they about the same?

There were a few math formulas I didn't memorize the way I should, so I wasted time trying to figure out a number, then I had to rush to finish the block. Aside this, it was OK.

I agree with the others that there was enough time- If you use it wisely- In my very first block I was nervous and read even the easy questions twice because I was surprised and with the vague Ethics stuff/ other difficult questions, I couldnt make up my mind and as a result I barely finished the block in time but from the next block till the end I always had 5 minutes or so at the end because I marked the tough questions and went on and didnt waste much time- Also Note that at least in my test majority of the questions were only a couple of lines long

i have a slightly different experience. while doing the kaplan qbank and the simulated exams, i always had at least 15 minutes (sometimes even 25) to go over each block. so, i figured that i would have enough time on the exam. however, on the actual exam i finished 5 blocks with less than a minute left, whereas i had about 2 to 3 minutes for the other two blocks. i found that even though the questions may be relatively easy one still concentrates A LOT more on the actual exam because you do not want to miss a single thing in the question. maybe if i was doing the same exam at home (under no pressure), i presume i would have lots more time left at the end of each block. doing the real thing is quite different.
