choice c is correct- pulsus paradoxus

  #6

but pulsus paradoxus is B) Drop in systolic blood pressure of greater than 10 mmHg during inspiration

  #7

the correct choice is (B) which is pulsus paradoxus ( drop of systolic blood pressure greater than 10 mmHg during inspiration.
although it is not spesific for cardiac tamponade , it is the most sensitive finding .
pulsus paradoxus occurs also in some patients with:
constrictive pericarditis ( in about one third of the patients) , restrictive cardiomyopathy,
hypovolemic shock, severe COPD and in bronchial asthma.
