Ladies and Gentlemen,

After trying to pass Step 1 on two occasions I'm 1.5 months away from the 3rd attempt (first 2 was a close call).

I'm pretty far from being nervous, don't have any symptoms of anxiety. Actually I had an anxiety attack couple of years back not related to USMLE :-). No palpitations, tremor, sweaty palms, dilated/pinpoint pupils, night terrors, frequent uri....Anyway...But I realized that during my second attempt I was (possibly) more confident than I'm right now. Reason: I was studying more. I'm FMG from former Soviet Union, now I'm in US doing some research. It's hard to say, but I think I'm sort of lacking motivation, maybe got burned out...It's been a long time since I gratuated and we are not getting any younger. I'm sure there are many people like me.

Well...I was thinking of not taking this test in a month and a half. I don't think I can pull it of this time (work, home, child, wife etc). To go or not to go, that is the question...

Any output, please

Thanks and good luck to all

definitely TO GO, you don't want to live with thoughts like "what if...". live is hard and i would really thing about taking time off on the job to take full time study to ace it this time. do you do q-bank or q-book? what are your acores? do adjustments in study.
where did u graduate?
don't give up, keep going

Thanks for suggestions. I think I will be able to get only 2-3 day right before the test. I'm studying about 3-4, more on weekends. Well...will see what's going to happened.

Thanks again

3-4 days/week is not enough. i am sure you are able to get at least a month off. think about it. to go on exam without effort and wich to pass it... no use. put your will and effort into a good result. i am saying it because i did it and do not regret a minute.
