hi there: I am an IMG and have never worked with the kaplan notes for step one or two. now I am about to start preparing for step3. I did some research and everyone keeps talking about these kaplan notes and how great they are. My question: how do I get these kaplan lecture notes? I can not find them online, only found people trying to sell them for a huge amount of money. also: what should I get to prepare for step3: the step2 notes or the step3 notes? I do not have any kaplan notes yet. thank you so much for your help

u can either buy fresh notes from kaplan itself...websites kaptest.com...check it out.or u can buy 2nd hand notes from others but dunoo whether they'll be as good cuz they probab wont be upto date.. alternatively u cd join their classes if u want. either ways u'll find all u need to know on their website

hi again i called kaplan today and they told me they do not sell the notes seperately, they said you have to sign up for their classes to get the notes. i will not sign up for their classes because it is just too much money. so i guess i can only get them second hand somewhere. thank you for your post. cheers

i've heard Step 2 CK notes are better than Step 3 notes. I'm personally using Step 2 CK notes plus Crush Step 3 a little, since i am more familiar with Step 2 notes because they were my source for Step 2 a couple of months back.

yeah i have heard that many people prefere the step2 notes, i just don't know if they are really better or if people just use them because they already have them and are used to them from learning for step2. so for someone like me, who has no notes and has never used them before, what do you recommend? how many books are there in each of these notes for step 2 and 3? it seems like the step2 notes are bigger (more content? more info?) thank you all so much for giving your advice.

Step 2 notes are five, one book for each subject. Step 3 are two, one for IM and the other one for the rest of the subjects. I am using Step 2 notes because I already studied them before. If you have never used them, it may take time to go through them.
