Does anyone can't apply b1/b2 visa for step2cs ?
I'm really worried about it because i'm not working fulltime now.

As far as I know anybody can apply for this type of VISA, getting it it´s a different issue, where are you from?

i hav applied for visitors visa i think it was b1/b2 as i was told i hav to apply wid this visa for step2cs. is that so? n my interview is in march 1st week . when is ur interview.
r u doing any job right now. i m not n so i m worried because there is requirement that u hav to show sponser's letter at the time of interview.so because of that i m planning n would join internship next week. i know this gonna create problems for my step2ck prep but i cant afford to get my visa rejected on not doing job. i read ur step2ck is also in march. mine is also in end of march . hows ur prep going. keep in contact drzhiv@hotmail.com. best wishes for ur step2s n interviews.

I dont know where u are from but for my visa in india the only document that they checked was the letter from ecfmg which they send to you when u apply for the step2 cs exam(u have an option in the form to ask for that letter to show visa authorities) and i also showed them a printout of exam date as i had already taken my exam date.I think that is more than enough to show why u need to go to the u.s.Once they give you the visa on entry into the u.s the immigration authorities decide how long u get to stay.Hope it answers ur doubt.
