i still have one more step to go(step1) , when is the latest possible time to do it and still be accepted in the match.i didn't start studying yet and i know i need at least 9 to 10 months to do it ,do you think i will still be able to get a residency in 2008??please someone answer.

Latest possible is early jan 2008 so that you hav your score before programs submit their ROL .But thats only in theory .You are unlikely to get a good number of interview calls with that timing .
best possible time which leaves you with best possiblity is august or early september at the latest .As you move more towards succeeding months your chances will fade with lapsing time .
Yes I think you can get a residency in 2008 .Why not .
