A 30 year old man presents to the emergency room with tachcardia and diaphoresis.He tells the examining physician that he took a poison but disclose what type of poison he ingested.He says "IF YOU ARE A SUCH GREAT DOCTOR WHY DONT YOU FIGURE IT OUT WHAT I TOOK".:"OTHERWISE, I DONT MIND DYING"which of the following is the best initial step in the management of this case?
(A) Admit the patient voluntarily only if he divulges the substance he ingested.
(B)Admit the patient voluntarily regardeless of the information he does or does not provide.
(C)Admit the patient involuntarily and obtain toxcology studies.
(D)Discharge the patient immediately.
(E)Summon law enforcement authorities to detain the patient.

THIS IS EMERGENCY CASE AND THE PROBLEM MAY BE DUE TO SUICIDAL IDEATION SO I GO WITH C.

Agree with C.
B. Admit voluntarily means you ask the patient if he wants to be admitted. Admit only if he says its ok with him, and don't admit if he refuses.
