Is system wise approach better or subject wise for revision?

for mania70 : I did my MBBS in India .... graduated in 2002 ... am doing my PhD ... plan to go for 2008 match. I had a period of 4 yrs of no touch with medical textbooks before I picked them up for MLE. for Nima and Oldkid : I seriously thought about the system wise approach but did not follow it because all the books are organized in a subject wise fashion. I think it would be a good approach if you have enough time and can be sure that you are not missing out much. One way to do it would be to do the qbanks by taking system wise questions and then going through them. hope this helps

Thanks, I think I will stick to Subject wise, coz the other seems quite complicated.

hello, congratulations to you for scoring what all of us dream about... There are a few things i didn't quite understand from your first mail.... 1.What's Goljan Five Stars Book ? Does it have another name ? 2.You did Kaplan 2 tests/day... are those the 120 minute-126 item -subject wise tests? 3. Did you do the whole 2 tests each day ? 4. What is UW? I am from India, and don't know many of the commonly known stuff about this exam ! 5. What is GPS ? ( i have a feeling that this is going to turn out to be a rather silly question !) Thanks again for the long and detailed threads and sharing your experience with us. It has helped a lot.
