do we have to do both finger nose test and alternating movement in a case where you suspect cerebellar problem, or do you think they will be satisfied with one of them

You can do both.
Besides, they are fast to perform, so that`s not a problem

I think it´s better to do both and as Chema said it´s very fast it will take maybe 10-15 sec to do one or the other
