done last CD block - 40/46. I'm also done with the FA chapters I wanted to review.
today I want to review some of my uw notes and maybe start IM if there is still time

hi guys, thank you all so much for your moral support and for being here along the way!
I'm am (thank God!!!) done with the exam, looking forward for CS now.
My exam was as expected, hard but not impossible, I've done quite ok until the last 2 blocks when I totally lost my concentration because I was sooo exhausted and plus I almost had a heat-stroke (it was a very hot day and the AC was broken, by the end of the day there were >100 degrees in there)  I don't know how badly will that reflect on my score, my mind and my reasoning were blurry, I was staring at a low BP with JVD and distant heart sounds and couldn't put it together and pick tamponade from the answer options... so I am king of worried, my performance wasn't the best for sure...
But now it's gone and I can only look forward and hope for the best. It's CS time now.
I'll post a detailed experience on the forum after I get my score.

and doc08 yes, my exam was doable. if I kept the same level of concentration and focus from start to finish it would have been great! but...we all do what we can and hope for the best.
my exam was very similar to other experiences form this forum: loads of IM, lots of trauma and lots of psych q that were unexpectedly difficult and twisted. but the rest of them were very very similar to uw, the concepts were the same (I remember cuz I memorized my uw notes just before the exam - I recommend it to you all). there were a few q in each block in which I couldn't figure out the diagnosis and I made my best guess, but for the most q I knew what was going on. and then there were the q in which what I believed to be the best and only answer was not among the choices so....my best guess again. but overall my impression (subjective impression) is that there were fewer impossible q than in step1
I have no idea how I've done, since the performance is not related to the number of right/wrong q but to the comparison with other ppl's performances so....the best thing to to know is just wait and pray and see what happens...

Hi Klimt, what is the difficulty level of the real test compared with NBME1 and NBME3?

personally I think it was somewhere in between
but the bad part is that NBME is only 4 hours so it's much easier to keep focused for 4 hours compared to 9 hours in the real test. I believe it's not the difficulty level that broke me during the exam but the heat and the exhaustion that made me focus less towards the end
