Can someone tell me if I am picking out the right material. I have noticed so many are reading Kaplan books and lecture notes. I chose however, to buy BRS, high-yield and other USMLE books that were highly recommended by First-Aid. Is that option wrong? I do plan on buying the Q Bank soon. HELP, please.

Im a Kaplan reader and the problem is I have noticed many r reading yours so I am about to lose my belief in Kaplan...but now I decided that the real important issue is whatever u chose do it well and add tons of Qs

btw ...I have a friend...she started her residency in G/O ...got 92 in step 1 with non kaplan books like HY BRS FA in the second step she attended Kaplan lectures only bc those made it quicker 4 her !!

Thanks feyza..to let you know ..I struggled some time trying to figure out exactly how to start that I just went ahead and got Kaplan books. I will however suppliment them with other books of I have the chance. Besides I spent money on those too so I might as well open them and see what's in 'em, right?
But I believe you are right .. whatever you chose you need to master and do ton's of questions.
