i m having the same problem, i cant post messages in step1 forum, this window doesnt appear there
i repeatedly entered my password and user but it didnt work
i even made a new account but nothing changed

Try to clear your cookies before login. Do you get an error message?
Last few days since the match there was a lot a traffic and the response time was slower.
