In the step 1 exam I guess I wasted a lot of time underlining question words - step 2 q are longer - and ... take more more time to highlight. that helps me focus - but I discovered that 1. it takes a lot more to end reading the q 2. I rarely get a chance to look at the "highlighted" q again. so - do you think is worth or worse highlighting? I am thinking of trying to train myself not to use the highlighter again... and maibe to just focus more my highlighting ad repeating keywords in my mind, pausing after them... any tips? while practising the questions in USMLE world I used the highlights & it used to take some time initially, but I speeded up gradually. It helped me durng thee exam as the questions in the REAL exam are very long there without highlighting its difficult to concentrate. Imagine having to do a page length question without highlghting necessary stuff, its very difficult! I wud advice to practice with highlighting & gradually it will be easy n u will be used to it!
