mary 22 yrs old student was brought to the emergency room with complaints of pain in the thigh and limp. parents inform that she is a blue cross member, loves pets and has two cats at home. while playing with them, one of the cats suddenly has bitten her in attempt to jump away from her lap.. on examnation,the area of thigh is edematous , erythematous and tender to touch. a diagnosis of osteomyelitis is made. what is the most likely causative agent?

pasteurella multicoda, coz it presents in one day, while infection with bartonella presents after 2 weeks
