Is it ok to ask the SP to lower his gown in order to do a quick heart auscultation in aortic and pulmonary areas instead of asking him to untie his gown wich would take longer?..., of course talking about a noncardiac case Thanks from now

i would advise against lowering the gown, ask the patient politely wether you can untie the gown & examine him.

What about quick lung auscultation, does it has to be on ant and post chest?..., if yes in how many points 2 or has to be 3 moving from side to side?... Thanks
