How is Step 3 scored? Is the score you see in the report only a reflection of the MCQ's? What I think is that the score on the report is only for the MCQ's, but in order to be a passing score you need to pass the CCS too. I don't know if I am right. Please clarify.

i think that the test is scored like this: the test is out of 300 - 240 for mcq's and 60 for 9 ccs cases. each correct mcq adds 0.5 marks towards your score. there are 480 mcq's in total. presuming that you pass ccs that is score 30 out of 60. then you have to get around 320 mcq,s correct out of 480 to pass. which means around 67%. you can afford to have around 160 incorrect answers. you need around 80% in mcq's for a 99. hope this helps
