yes, passport is enough , but not all banks in US will do the notarary , some do it only for those who have their accounts , but some do it for a fee , they asked me 2 $ ,but that good soul after knowing i m a doctor , he said i dont have to pay!was shocked to see the respect they have on a doctor .

Bank of America has notaries... and some document stores like Kinkos. As kar said, some free some $$$

In my state, the max that a notary can charge, per seal, is $10.

If you have a bank account, a notary at a bank won't have a fee. Depends on where you go. I charge for non-hospital related notary seals.
