This is a questions that surround spousal abuse. I know that in all states child abuse and elder abuse are mandatory reportable offenses. However Kaplan says that Spousal abuse is not maditorily reportable. The only problem is that USMLE world considers it to be a mandatory reportable offense ( like gunshot wound, elder abuse , chlid abuse etc). Does anyone know if this has recently changed and made spousal abuse mandatory reportable offense?? If you know the answer please refer to your souce and give an explanation.
