Hi
I just found out some new information. Im not sure if it is true but I have just recently heard that they are going to change the format of the Step 1. Meaning there are gonna be videos and heart murmers and a whole bunch of new stuff on it that wasnt on it before. From what I know this cahnge is taking place in June. Im am really scared. First they increased the pass rate, and now they are changing the format.
Can someone PLEASE reply to this and let me know if this is true, and if so do you know when they will be making this change? I heard that the pass rate was changing on January 01'07 and that the format was chaning on June 01'07.

One more thing....is this change suppose to make the exam harder, or easier?

surely they want 2 implement the new format- which includes audio visuals...to simulte more of a clinicl scenario....there is nothing 2 panic...coz it is simply like adding CT's,X-rays,MRI's,Histo slides...2 the previous format.
It is said that its gonna be there no sooner than summer of 2007.
