Its impotant to an extent. They may ask you a deficiecy of c2 affect which pathway. only way you will know this is knowing the complement pathway. The coagulation pathway is even more important, deficiency of factors, lead to changes of pt and ptt. I you remember the pathway and the factors that are measre by pt and ptt you will understan that changes that occur in hemophilia A, B, von willebrands disease , vitamin k def. Liver disease . I would say know both cold.
