If your eligibility period extended is ending then is it counted an attempt if you dont give in this period?

i mean if you do not sit the exam in the 3 + 3 period

Unless U appear at the Exam centre in flesh & blood, its not counted as an attempt. grin

nor will there b a remark on Ur transcript.

Hi there!
I am in the same situation, my elegibility period ended in November so I asked for an extension (before it ended), now my extended period ends in February and it seems I am not going to be able to take the exam in Feb, so I called ECFMG and asked if it would count as a failed attempt, and they told me NO, that the residency programs won't find out, it is only on ECFMG records, so you would have to reapply and repay the fee to ask for another elegibility period but IT WON'T COUNT AS A FAILED ATTEMPT!!!
