I had 3 month period which I did extend for another 3 months. I am not ready to take the exam. Q1. Can I extend the exam date again? If yes how? Q2. Do I have to pay full fees to extend the date or one could have an excuse like sick etc. Q3. Would it be part of my exam history, that I registered for 6 months and did not take the exam? Q4. What is better to cancel scheduled exam date or just don't show up? In either case would it be part of my USMLE transcript?

Hello, U can extend Ur original slot by another 3 months, but Its not possible to extend it further. Take a fresh slot of 3 months on payment of full fees....wtever applicable in ur region, No excuses or additional paperwork needed. Whether u dont show up or cancel the date, it wud'nt be counted as an "attempt"....in ur certification.....or part of ur exam history.....Chill out Good luck
