is this because the diversion causes a diarrhea like ileal fluid lost, then the metabolic acidosis further causes tachypnea for compensation?

Just guess, really don't know.

ileal conduit will not change the electrolyte much or not at all. so option shd be D. normomochl metab acidosis, becoz the electrolyte changes sounds solely from kidney
