Are you interested in peds.? As you know, applying in october is considered late so your chances of getting an interview is less, so applying in mid-dec....well, i think you know. I think most programs have a deadline for applications for nov. 1. Some will extend it into december. But, by now the only way you will get an interview is through cancellations and most interviews go only through january so there are only a few weeks left. I don't mean to be negative, but i'm just trying to be realistic because applying to programs is expensive. Also, if you want to apply to peds. because you don't have very many IM interviews, then it sounds like you don't like peds. very much, and I think programs will be able to see that. Lastly, if IM is what you are really interested in, then stick too it, because we are talking about more than just 3 years of residency, we're talking about your entire career. Good luck

Hi , most of thr places are filled with applications, that they r not reviewing new ones, so d onot waste money. If you are still desperate, call them up and ask them shall i send an application.
