Hi guys...
I just took NBME form 1 and got 510 (221)... I am too depressed...
I was really trying hard to get 90+ I dont know what to do now.. I have just finished 50% of kaplan and 50% of UW Qbank.. Dont think have much time to do Qs now.. Do you think I should reapply again? I eligibility period ends in Dec 31.. So I cant extend it..
Need sincere advice.. I was doing FA and med essential since past 3-4 days... any suggestions are welcome!!!

I guess there's not much u cud do wid a week left....2 grossly improve over ur NBME predictd score...
But I've seen instances where an improvement upto 8-15 score, over NBME..."If slogged hard.............& smart"...[So there's hope!!!]
Try 2 gain even a couple of days if possibl.....U delayd FA till da last moment...Its the single source which can alter ur score drastically in short time......Almost all da Q's of main exam can b found in FA.......If not postponing, try to drill ur way thru FA....if possibl thrice.....
Its a real life saver..!

You can extend it, if you extend it your need your school to verify your enrollment by the 25th of january. i just did the same thing. Then work your butt off on questions and your subjects and you will reach your goal. DOnt get depressed, get determined.!!Oh yeah i'm assuming that you have not extended it already.

Dark,
Not to scare you since I am on the same boat as you, my exam is next week as well. I would tell you the truth, I think the later forms of NBME (ie. version 2 and 4) is very tough compared to the 1st one. You should take that and see where you stand.

Thanks a lot guys!!! I will get hold on just FA now.. see how it goes! ANd yeah.. as sugested I am gonna do form 2 again after reading FA twice before the exam! lets see what happens.. Plzzz pray for me...I hope I can do it this time.. GL to everyone!!

Dear dartikaz,
As I have not done my test yet , so cannot advise you on this matter  but drplacebo's suggestion seems right. Read FA very well and do form 2 as you said. I am sure you will improve.

I have started with FA now... doing certain things from Kap medessential too... Lets see how it goes... 6 days to go!!!! oh gosh!!! plzzz pray for me....

way to go!!! Thats true drplacebo... Its like all kaplan is coming together... I am liking it better than FA... Hope for the best!!! 5days to go!!!
