hi guys! i did my exam yesterday.no idea as to how it went, all the blocks were a mixture of easy and difficult questions. i struggled to finish on time in contrast to my practice exams at home at UWwhere i always had a few mts. left in each block. some questions were pretty easy and straightforward. for me anat. was tough with origin and insertions of muscles-- that i hadnt gone thru. ethics options wre very confusing.lots of pathology slides with no hints in the stem of questions in quiet a few. few graphs which were understandable.i found gentics options very confusing.only a few questions(clinical scenarios) were very long. the rest were 3-4 lines.one liners had about 10-12 options. lots of pathology and immunology. as of now im back to work please let me know if u want any further info.

Good luck on your score onc!!Should we have to concentrate on origin, insertion in anatomy? Please let us know whether pathology slideview is very important since I was in the notion that question stem might give adequate information

Hi onc07 .. Congratulations with getting over with it... I am sure you will get a good score.. Can you tell me whether you did any NBME form before the actual test? I see that you also did UW ... Can you tell me how much you should generally get to get good score? My exam is in 1 week.. any suggestions are welcome.. Thanks and GL

Respected Friend, Good luck & best wishes for your exam. After that few words for favor- Can you please tell me, in how many questions you got graphs from Pharmacolgy(means Epi, NE, Ganglion blocker action on different settings) as well as calculations(pharma & physio)? How was the genetic, molecular biology and Biostatistic portion?? As, all of those staffs are nightmare for me. ...Thanks

Thank you very much. Your luck is very good that you got few graphs. Can you please specify about the Mol. biology staffs?? I know they are plenty but your support will help many souls...I know that they are going very deep to immunology, as everyone had to think about it on spot.

structure of t RNA,3 Q about calculating no. of introns and introns req. to be accomodated in coding region to get max. no of proteins..and a calculation about how far should an enhancer be. all 3 were very confusing and i did not understand them at that time.also since the Q were very long,i cud not afford to try and understand,i guessed and moved on. one Q based on lac operon but with diff.products. immuno-CGD,TCR.markers,antigen presentation, vaccine.
