Hi, I’m an Img from Dominican Republic. I passed step 1 85 first pass, step 2 Cs, and step 2ck 81 first pass also. My concern is that I haven’t got many IV (only two), I applied to 39 IM programs and would like to know, is there still any hope for me to get a few more???. Anyway, Should I contact some of the programs that I have applied to and haven’t been rejected??

Please someone help!!!

I've seen people did that(contacting) but am not sure really....showing persistance is sth they're looking for but let other people answer too..

you could expect 1-2 IVs more if you are really lucky, getting them from people who cancelled at those hospitals because they got prematches or something (for example, I received one the last week after almost a month of complete silence in myERAS ), but don't put much hope about it. Best thing to do is to prepare very well for your 2 IVs, and be ready to not receive more invitations, if you do it well in your interviews, you could achieve it.

I really don't think if you contact those programs will change the sceen. I did it and it didn't work at all, only a few answered and all of them said they were still revieweing applications.

good luck!!!
