I have to send my USMLE examination scores for Step 1, Step 2 CK & Step 2 CS to California Medical Board to obtain California Letter (PTAL). These scores must be sent directly to the Board's Sacramento headquarters address. How do I do this?
I am a Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG).
Please explain the process in as detail as you can.

you DO NOT send the scores, someone sends them for you, it could be ECFMG or FSMB (Federation of state medical boards) they both charge a fee ECFMG charges 25 bucks and FSMB charges 50 bucks but you can send it to other parties not just the cal med board. I personally used ECFMG because i am pooor and have no money right now.
Go to ecfmg.org yoou ll find the info there.
Of course that the FSMB is faster in sending the scores than ECFMG.

Hi,
I want to know how should I contact ECFMG to send the scores ? Do I call them and ask to send my scores to california med board? Do they need any paper work or they can take online payment and send the scores?
I am an IMG and will get my ECFMG certificate by monday.
Who can apply via FSMB for score request and can the scores be requested online after payment or does it needs some paper work to be send too?
Any help is appreciated.
