In 7 years after you passed one of the USMLE Steps, you gotta pass the rest

i think the question is different. Maybe he/she is asking once you pass all the steps and you are ECFMG/USMLE certified, how long are they valid?, am I right?

i think they are 6-7 years. But not 100% sure.

Wait for other answers.

well HE!! means,if you pass step 2 ck or cs is it possible to take a 2 year PhD in like PHM then apply for your residency to increase your chances?wouldn't the fact that some years has pased affect your status negatively??

it`s hard to say.

you will have more curriculum vitae BUT on the other hand, you will be an older graduate. And some programs have a requirement of less than 3 years or 2 years after graduation. So, it`s up to you and depends on the residency programs you are interested in.
