any body got a clue??all the USMLE steps and mccee and mccqe 1 and 2....how many years are they valid?

In 7 years after you passed one of the USMLE Steps, you gotta pass the rest

i think the question is different. Maybe he/she is asking once you pass all the steps and you are ECFMG/USMLE certified, how long are they valid?, am I right? i think they are 6-7 years. But not 100% sure. Wait for other answers.

well HE!! means,if you pass step 2 ck or cs is it possible to take a 2 year PhD in like PHM then apply for your residency to increase your chances?wouldn't the fact that some years has pased affect your status negatively??

it`s hard to say. you will have more curriculum vitae BUT on the other hand, you will be an older graduate. And some programs have a requirement of less than 3 years or 2 years after graduation. So, it`s up to you and depends on the residency programs you are interested in.

well fair enough..thanks chemamr, what are the odds for an IMG to get on hand experience in US.it's called externship I think.do you know anyone who'se done it??and how can we make it more possible?
