i have heard people say and even know some friends who after extending the eliblity period for ck and then giving the test, found out that the exam was real tough, and they ended up with poor scores or failing the exam !! RUMOR, THEY FAILED BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT READY FOR THE EXAM. MY ADVISE IS TO EXTEND YOUR ELI PERIOD FOR 3 MONTHS. tAKE THE EXAM IF YOUR NBME IS 500+. (MAKE YOU SECURED)

hey robin, amer and priyanka, thanks for the advice.. so i have extended my period today.. i just graduated this sept and my uni in india, they have not yet issued us our degree certificates.. so my form 183e, i have to send to india to get it signed by my medical coll dean.. and then if ecfmg receive my form 183e by dec 27th, by when should i expect to get my new scheduling permit (ornage card) so that i can schedule the date on prometric before 20th jan.. actually i need to get my score by nrmp rank order dead line (feb 15th) to be eligible for match 2007.. so that all the money and hard work after interviews and applications does not go waste..
