can any one explain how monocytes in granuloma cause increasein 1-alpha- hydroxylse and as a result hypercalcemia

1 alpha hydroxylase is seen in kidney for production of vit.D3(1,25 dihydroxy cholecaciferol)...i guess these monocytes must be carrying the same enyme???
