Hey Guys, Need some help, so here are my questions... 1. do you send CARD "thank you note" or E-MAIL thank you notes? 2. For the program coordinator, card or e-mail? Can you add some little thing/gift, like a simple flower (afterall it is christmas time) if I am really interested in the program? Thanks Helops

You need to send an E-Mail to all the faculty who interviewed you and also to the Residency Coordinator and the resident who takes u to the hospital tour expressing strong interest in the program.

Send a Thank you note, written by yourself. It adds a personal touch and it shows you bothered because you are VERY interested in the program. Also send the e-mail to be sure they'll get the message. Take care my friend Hope to see you around soon.

get the $5 pack of thank you cards at staples. I mailed one out to everyone I interviewed with. I hand-wrote a different 3-4 line letter to everyone I interviewed with. Handwriting it has a personal touch. The more important thing is that since it is short it is much much much more likely to be read. Try to include a positive point about the interview. Thank you letters don't really mean much, but they can be used as tools to remember you or something important about you that they may have forgotten.
