For the scramble...
California play a roll??? ...what I am trying to say is that I dont have the california letter they want So I guess California is not part of the scramble for people like me
I am right?????

ohhhh and by the way how long it takes to the PD in answering the thank you letter????

Without CA letter, you can not rank most programs in CA. So I guess you can not apply for them during scramble, either.

But some programs (e.g. Kaiser Oakland, USC) don't need the letter.

Many PD don't even reply the Thank You letter. If they do, I think within a couple of days you send the letter.
