I am about to begin pharmacology. Some say that a combination of lippincot illustrated or Katzung review + kaplan notes is the best. Some feel that kaplan notes are enough and other books a waste of time. Please post your opinions on the best way to prepare for pharmacology.

kaplan r more than enough for me lippincott is just for some unclear facts or more examples indeed facts in kaplan r even more in depth but if u can get to it ..focus on the drawings and the graphs the questions at the end of each section r aimed to highlight those facts

I've also started pharma - Kaplan is the mine choice; so far it is going well; please, share if you find Lip. to have more in depth info.

KAPLAN + FA. YOU CAN SUPPLEMENT THE HIGH YIELD AREAS WITH LIPPINCOTTS BUT NOT REALLY NECESSARY SINCE KAPLAN ALMOST COVERS EVERYTHING

Thanks for responding to my post. I feel a combination of Kaplan and FA will hopefully be sufficient. Since no one suggested Katzung Board review i decided not to go for it.
