very funny
i remember less than 2 months ago , poeple where complaining of not getting alot of interview invitations , but as i can see now , it seems like everybody has got alot of interviews at great places and have the guts to reject offers here and theregrin

With all due humility, I would say that I dont have a lot of interviews.

Only that I was offered a prematch at a place I did not like...

This post is not intended to boast or gloat and I guess only time will tell whether what all I (and the others here) did was right or mere folly.

i dont mean anything against you or anyone else, and me myself have not only rejected prematches, but cancelled ivs because i didnt like the area where the hospital was, so those things do really happen, but i was just wondering how we could be in one extreme today and on the other tommorrow, thats it
good luck my friend

I am waiting to have one rolling eyes. I only have a chance to get a prematch in one hospital as the program director told us he will be settling the position outside the match. 2 days ago the PC contacted me to tell me that they received my LOR. then added I will contact you soon. but nothing else so I am keep my hopes high. I am sick of waiting. I don't have the nerves to go through the match this year. even though I was told in two interviews that I will be ranked high in there list

hi aprurav I was offered a pre match at a dream Uni prog that offers only J1 my H1 IVs were at mainly community hospitals the only exception being Wayne state....what advice do you hv for me am into hem onc wonder if i can get it at a comm hospital please gimme some advice

  #17

do wat u want. if it is ur dream prog - then take it unless u seriously have visa issues. depends on how ur planning to rank. if this is going to be number 1-3 on ur list anyways then go grab it. if u were plannin to rank it below it ur h1 programs then think about it. if u already have significant research with u? wud the program still consider u in the match..

Die hungry and you have to take all the USMLE exams again

there is no exams in the afterlife (atleast that what I believe).

AS much as this thread is bugging me. since I am waiting for a prematch even in jail. but keeping refusing and you will give us (the weaker ones) more places
