I am IMGs, grad in 2005. Have passed step 1 (98/243) Cs passed, Waiting for CK. Is there any body who can tell me how i can get programs which are IMGs friendly in Transitional Year.?? plz Help me i need to safe my yaer somehow.....

Why transitional year? It is very hard to get, if you need one year of something, try prelim IM or prelim Surgery. In Transitional you compete with all the AMG matching to the subspecialites, most likely than not you won't get even a single call.... But of course, you can take your chances. Good Luck!

hi guyz... i got 99 in step 2 Ck..just now... i have alrady passed Cs,step 1 with 98... is it safe to apply now im IM programs or the damage has already be done..

You have great scores, but you are kinda late... I wouldn't waste my time and hopes for this match, and apply next year early with complete application... Good Luck!

The Prelim is much harder to get than the Categorical. Those who apply for Derm, radiology, Opthmo, Neuro, ect need to get one year internship (prelim) before going into their specialties.
