Whats the difference ?

autism language is not developed at all. infact all the communication skills are not developed,child is oblivion of the surroundings. rett syndrome has all the features of autism , but has langauage devpt normally

And is only see in girls. Development is normal until 4 yo,

Autism..is since birth..were as Retts syndrome..manifests after 4 yrs..

Rett syndrome is present at birth, and becomes more evident during the second year. One in 10,000 females born has Rett syndrome. It is believed to be the second most common cause of severe and profound learning disability in girls. A large proportion of people who have Rett syndrome have a mutation on the MECP2 gene on the X chromosome
