Hello freinds!
i am starting preparation fr Mle step 1 ....... will be taking the exam in april........ most probably april end... still havent taken the dates.....
i am starting with biochem and have completed 7 chaps frm the beginning..... i have read these and familiarised myself but i dont know wats teh key to remembering these things..... It appears so volatile and scares me to hell......... I pray to almighty to help me remeber thsese things.........
also studying HY anatomy as i found a few interesting questions in the forum about which i didnt know the answer....... instead of just checking the answer i completed the whole Upper Limb (anat).... a sort of distraction but i firmly believe.... it wont go waste.......
i will complete Upper limb fully frm nat and then will go on to Bchem and do the next 2 chaps tomorrow .... thst chap 8 and 9....... also will try to check some FA....... if i do 2 chaps daily frm today by sunday i will be able to atleast do quite a lot of Bchem....only that it appears too volatile..........revision is the key and i think solving questions.... God help me.........

Good morning guyz......... welll i m doing as i planned....... am into the 8th chap in bchem ..... having some probs with the lineweav....buke thing..... but hope to clear that soon .......
then have gt some wrk
.... but will be finishing things as planned chap 8 and 9 today and upper limb frm anat

i completed chap 8 and dont think hormones will be much of a problemo!!!!! hope to complete that in an Hour and then check some anat....... or revise previous bchem chaps once again!!!!
upper limb complete now into lower limb in anat

i think its good progress for teh start....... i completed 8 and 9 chaps in bchem....... now on to 10 and 11 ...... and more if possible ...... but setting goals realisticaklly is wht i want to do........ then i will start pushing me slowly
so right now 10 and 11 in bchem and then might be some part of 12.....
and somre questions frm Q book and in the end some lower limb anat

well as planned i did the 10th chapter of bchem frm kaplan........
but wen was about to start the 11th chapter i noticed i ahd left the bchem kaplan notes in the office and also the anat High yeild .... so started immunology and completed first three chaps.... nice to know about the basics of band t lymphocytes....... the VDJ regions ... the ligt and heavy chains.... the isotypes and idiotypes...... the rearrangement principal.... didnt solve any questions yet but planning to do that after this scrapping.....
just was wondering ..... how do i keep these tyhings in my mind......
coz remembering all this stuff is difficult........ lets seee... plz advise guyz.....
GOD help me....... its lots and i want to complete gross anat bchem and immuno.... by the end of this month.... todays 13... stiolll 17 days .... if i complete Bchem by this week ... then i stand a chance of completeing immuno and nat.... GOd help me

hi
i am also doing kaplan bio.and have same plan what you have like to finish bio,immuno,either neuro or gross by end of this month. other thing which we both have comman is that i am also planning to take exam in april.so keep it up and lets motivate eachother.
i am also reading kaplan pharma+FA pharma(2hr/day) so i have plan to keep pharma side by side as i am very poor in pharma
i am done till chp13 bio(kaplan) and plan to read 3chp/day.
keep posting your progress God will help you

Its nice to see yu herea nd great to know yu are having similar plans for Mle .....well the story was sdasd yesterday anmd day before ... as i couldnt do much .... but after seeing ur post I m motivated ...... I dont know why but ur post ahs motivated me and just after this post I m going to study and complete bchem 3 chaps and then go fr immuno........ i will be writing my progress in the evening .... its 11:20 am nopw in USA........ by evening i will be done with my 3 chaps of Bchem God willing....... and thenwill go into immuno..... hope to see mopre of ur mails amth... take care and God blesss

Nice to know that my post hits you in good way .I am done with chp14,15 .did antiviral drug so i am done with antimicrobial agents
For 2marrow : 16,17,18 bio 2 marrow is last day for bio so i have to finish three chp no matter what b/c i have to start with immuno by tuesday( monday NOstudy)
and start up with drugs for inflammatory&related disorders no time line for pharma.
Ok let me know your plan for 2 marrow. and how much you read today?

hows yu am? I also completed 14 and 15
and now will be completeing 16 17 18 frm kaplan....... after that i might go into genetics tomm..... will be busy on monday as i ahve to shift to my permanent place ....but wud try to do some genetics.... want to complete genetics the last 6 -7 chaps in kaplan .... by tuesday.... then immuno and will do pharmac.... just like yu .... no time line.... after immuno time fr anaat......... wow.... its wonderfull to have some study partner........... THANX GOD

again I AM here with my progress. I am done with bio and started with immuno so today i read first five chp(kaplan). trying to finish in 4 days(whole immuno:confused
But haven,t able to read pharma
so let see how 2marrow will treat me
2marrow target:

nice to see you well i also completed bchem and completed 3 chaps of immuno..... now will tryt o cover thingts as yu are trying to..... that is i will be trying to complete immuno.... i m reading frm the first time frm kaplan... so dont know how fast i will be able to read.... but still wud like to complete it by Sunday..... and along with it will try to do some genetics frm kaplan..... have done taht b4 so it wud be easy i suppose.....
and also will start pharmac....... wich book u using fr pharma.....?

sorry i was kinda busy with household stuff .But good thing i am done with immuno now reading physio trying to finish by end of this month. yes i changed plan little bit after i done with physio i,ll read anatomy my big fear .
Pharma i read from kaplan and FA now adding MED essential kaplan(but haven,t open kapaln med ess yet).
don,t worry i won,t run away and you are doing good
Hope we will knock out this exam with 99

how good is med essential kaplan..... i ahve started behavioral frm kaplan and will aslo be doing ity frm BRS....... and did u complete the whole of pharma
.... welll behavioral will be over soon coz i had already read some part of it ... say half..... so by day after tomm kaplan behav.. will be over.... dont know if i put too much effort fr BRS behav ... coz i ahvent touched it b4.........

here is my prog: i finished 3 units of physio i suppose to finish unit 4(cvs) but i am behind my target last two days i was kinda lazy  . GOOD NEWS i finished bio part from FA and done with pharma chp drugs for inflam&related disorder(BY THE WAY I HAVEN,T COMPLETE PHARMA).
AS usual i did pharma question at the back of chp and i did really bad 
so bottom line for pharma is !amth" you need to improve yourself "
2marrow target:
pysio cvs.
pharma cvs drugs
FA 20PAGES(IF POSSIBLE).

sorry i was busy with home life but now back to track. it seems like your diary become my daily diary. you have not write anything since dec,2006 hope everything ok with you.even if you are not studying still leave a note that you are ok with your family.May God keep you and your family safe.
even though i was busy but still able to read physio,some pharma. i was aiming to finish physio and pharma by end of dec but due to some personal reason i am not able to achieve my target but its ok in life up and down comes.
so far report

HI there!!! sorry coudnt write anything...... but that was coz i was very very LAZY......... anyway ....lifes going kinda koool...... yeah havent studied much .... but seems track is right coz i wa revising bchem and immuno and completed half of goljan audios till hematology.... not able to focus these days....... also almost completed half gross anat... but i think the real things in this exam are concepts of bchem and patho ....genetics and immuno...... think so coz i ahvew read these things and couldnt comment about the rest but feel wud be able to complete thses things real fast.... as thats just memory stufffff..... plz correct me if i m wrong AMTH...... sorry fr not writing.....

i am agree with you. i think this exam is blend of concepts and memorization and how to deal with it?  i think reading plus doing questions everyday.i know its hard to keep bothof them in balance as i am trying hard to do both but still not able to keep them in balance.like last few days i was just able to do question in whole day (by the way my whole day is just 5 to 6hr for study )
From 2marrow i promise myself i will read text and will do qestion also.
2marrow target:CNS PATHO GOLJAN first i will do q from robbin review and then i,ll read chp
UWQ: atleast 25 or30.(if i spend 5 min in reading explantion it will take 125min/150min mean around 2 to 2.5 hrs ( it took me 4hrs i don,t know why but its true)maybe i am slow reader.
Chief let me know your progress keep writing even if u are slow in studies nowadays
one day you will be back on ur track no matter what happen keep in touch with your primary goal.

well I completed micro ....parasitology remains and have started physio from BRS.... 2nd chapter now... after completeing secong chapter i plan to take both pathology and physio together ...... coz i have already listened to GOLJAN audio till hematology........ so i think systemic physio and patho will go well together.......... Hopefully by end of january... 31st .... i think physio will be complete and patho wud be about to get completed .... then just pharmac left.......I had done pharmac ......./of and on 4 months back...... so it wud be a sort of first reading....... hopefully after that 40 days of solving questionsad revisions.......will taht be good or do i need more time..... hows ur srudies going ... are yus atisfied with ur studies?...wen are yu taking ur step..... I tried lookin fr robbins review but couldnt get in INDIA>>........ .... is that vailable????

hi
my studies are going slow due to some household interuptions.Chief i am not in INDIA !sorry. I bought robbin review from amzon.Its nice book i like it.goodway to review patho.
time is flying and i am crawling.anyway lets buckle up and race my studies
i haven,t finish cns from goljan so better to finish that and then i will do questions as per my routine. i think i am feeling bore when i read text from book but doing question keep me up.
so better to look for study pal for atleat text review what you think?

I tried searching for the thread ... found it..... but the link is no more active and file is deleted...... plannoing to get frm aMAZON...... Even I m doing respi patho from goljan ..... just started.... tomorrow 26th jan is my birthday..... so wont be able to study much today and tommmm..... but studies are going fine....... only pharmac will be left in a weeks time .... i suppose... and neuroanat:0........ then questions ques and ques.....
