i took my exam on nov 22, and before the exam i had my time management plan very clear even tough i was very worried about having to go urinate a lot or feeling just very hungry and how that would affect my performance, when to take brakes , for how long.., what to do in that time, i even had an itunes playlist in place for my lunch brake. uhhhh about that...well i planned to do the first two blocks and then take a 5 min brake and then 3 then 5 min brake thatn 4th and then a 30 min lunch brake...as i got through the first 2 blocks i felt alot of confort....i mean i just kept going i wasnt tired, i didnt even felt like drinking water so got through the 4th block and i realized it was 1 o clock and i had not gone to the bathroom, drank water, i wasnt even hungry i just wanted to keep going and read one q after the other.and felt very calm and relaxed..i was so surprised!!!!..so i decided to brake when i was outside i confirmed that. what was i doing here i should go back in there and finish off the last 3 blocks and so i did : and when i was done i had just taken the step 1 with no bathroom brakes, no water brakes and still not hungry at all!!!! and at no point did i feel tired .......so guess its important to have a plan always and prep your mind and body too, but dont be surprised if things sort of do not turn out that way...but i was happy i was done with the test ......so my question is has this happened to anyone out there with their step 1 exam? or close to anything like this? jejeje thanks and good luck just waiting right now for the results....ill let u know how it turned out.

as i recall most of the q's were a blur....i couldnt tell what subject it was they were so ambigous and frankly weird....but the top three subjects i would have to say were biochemistry: diseases + enz deficiency behavioral science: alot , a whole bunch what to tell the pt in a certain situation.... and statistics, screening test ( some calculating ) i got no personality disoders, no defense mech either just basically weird situations jejeje pathophysiology Lots of mechanism of actions of hormones endocrine physiology some disease dx ( not much tough...) i was surprised too see not much inmuno or genetics in the exam... but different stuff for different days i guess....
