hey everyone,
i took the nbme exam toay and scored 460. my score on usmle world is swinging between 58 and 59%. my exam is in 10 days and i was wondering if i should postpone it a few days or just go ahead and take it.
the nbmevscore is less than the median of 500 so how does this correlate?
please anyone, do let me know what you think.
Thanks.

I would pospone and revise the nores of usmleworld and do all the ccs of usmleworld again and do them on the usmle cd. That would be safer, remember its very easy to fail this exam, and its not like you scored 500 something to have second thoughts, dont want to make you panic, its better to go for it when you are on the safe margin. Good Luck!

I made 450 on the exam about 3 weeks before I took it and I made 201/82. It depends on what you want to make on the exam. If you want to score in the 90s then postpone it, but if you just want to make a decent score then go take it and get that shit over with. Just my two cents.

you should score between 85-95 in the real exam depending on your score in step 2.
eg if your score was 99 in step2 your chances of getting at least a90 are very high with minimal prep and higher with good prep.

i think you'll get a 90.

best of luck for even better or best score.
