Hi everyone ..
my exam is on 27 th dec . and today i received a letter from ecfmg telling me that they didn't receive the final transcript from my medical college yet .
Won't i be able to take the exam without this requirement ? I'm inquiring in my college abt this issue but it might take some time . this new tension is freaking me out ..
plz someone tell me is this transcript really neccesary to sit for the exam . i received my orange permit and everything is otherwise ok .

no, I doubt its necesary.Its neccesary for them to receive ur transcript and verify ur credentials for u to b ecfmg certified,but as long as they have accept ur application, u can do the exams.But once u have passed all ur steps to get ur ecfmg certificate, ur credentials have to b verified by ur school.

just another q, i can c u r online. how long did u take to prepare for step 1. and whar materials. I have kaplan 2002, is that ok?

thanks a lot ..
well i been studying for last 3 months. actually i been studying a long time but not seriously  . and now i suck real bad. i got 260 on nbme 1. so you can understand i am in deep shit.
i had the 2002, then i managed to get kaplan 2005 , new FA and Q book. . in rapid share. i also have the UCV and HY for all the subjects and GOLJAN lecture notes and audio lecture class.
2002 and 2005 ar almost same a very few changes in microbiology
the most important source of all, GOOGLE. if u could not find anything, google it up. it is most reliable.
so when are u up for the exam? have solved NBME???

hi thanks for the re, i will google them.i got the 1st aid from rapid share but i dont have the password.I have done step 2 , yet to see my results.I am hoping and praying that i do very well.I will look for the stuff u said, thanks alot
