AS FAR AS i KNOW the requirements for research H1 are: *Job description should mention that minimum degree required for the job is of a bachelor's. *the company/university/hospital hiring you should be able to give a proof to USCIS that they couldn't a find a suitable US resident candidate for the job! *Most of the Universities ask for a previous research experience but thats not mandatoryfor acquiringan H1 visa. For clinical H1 *you must be ECFMG certified & must have passed step3. The fee for filing for a visa is around $2000, thats usually paid bythe university hiring you, but a few universities don't, in that case candidate has to pay. If you want the visa processing doneearlier(in 15 business days), then you have to pay for premium processing that's $1000.. premium processing is to be paid by the candidate himself, usually. this is what iKNOW.. for more do a search & also see immihelp.com
