I plan to give my Step 2 in March. I have 15 days of vacation now.That is very precious time. I have just started Internal Medicine.I plan on doing IM and Paeds during my vacation time. Work and School starts again on Jan 3 so got to cover as much as possible during this time. nod

Today I am going to do 100 q from UW. Got to finish Cardio as well.

Could review only 1 block in UW.Din't do anything else.Need to get more organized . Iam not getting the focus at all. I have to do well in Step 2 especially since I din't do great in S1.I have to go to work now. When I come back I will start cardio. Got to finish it today!!!

Yeah it's really hard to focus, my prob also. But I am pushing myself vhard! Just keepgoing!! Good luck !

Most people have the same feeling after step 1 exam: loss of endeavor and cannot concentrate on studying.

I have the same problem as yours, cannot concentrate at this moment, just do some questions per day.

We have to be more active now.

Thank you! for the encouragement. I made some progress with cardio. The stuff is very interesting. I should finish reading it today and hopefully do some qs on the topic.

Going verrrrrrrry slow. I think unless one does the questions one wouldn't be able to assimilate the material well enuf. I am doing the q s but i need to reveiw them in detail and that is taking up a lot of time. I have a week of vacation left. I have to finish int med atleast or i 'll be in hot soup!! God ! please give me the motivation to do this right. shaking head

I am still doing Internal Med. I see that the number of qs from Int med are max in U W so I am hoping that all this time spent is not going to be a waste. I am planning on doing some parts of paeds simultaneously with this so that the matter stays put in my brain comprehensively. ID of IM is Huge and it needs a great memory to remember everything so I am going to do as many qs as possible and see what i need to concentrate on. I have two and a half mths to go.GOT TO GET IT RIGHT THIS TIME!!

I finally finished IM.Doing paeds.Trying to scan thru it quickly just to familiarize myself with the topics. My score on the quizes is fluctuating enormously. I have to work harder. Need to use my time wisely.Need to study smart. I am narrowing down to two choices and then I pick the wrong one.I am not going to get discouraged coz it's better I know my mistakes now so that I can work on knowing the stuff better. I need to do well not only for residensy but also to get my confidence back! I have it in me, I need to translate it into a good score
