I know this scenario of losing consciuosness then regaining and then losing again is mostly seen with epidural but epidural hemtoma are milder in terms of impact like getting hit on the head with a golf ball & subarachnoid is more severe in sense that its seen in high impact motor vehicle accidents so as u metioned this accident, I am gonna go with subdural hemorrhage, although I may be wrong so just dont post the right answer, give us some distinguishing features of differential diagnosis. thanks

acording to your topic: Etiology: Trauma is the typical cause of EDH. The trauma frequently is a blunt impact to the head from an assault, fall, or other accident. Pathophysiology: Unlike the subdural hematoma, cerebral contusion, or diffuse axonal injury of the brain, EDH is not generated secondary to head motion or acceleration. EDH mainly is caused by structural disruption of the dural and skull vessels commonly associated with calvarial fractures. Laceration of the middle meningeal artery is the most common etiology. thats y i asked to explain as this pt was in motor vehicle accident, no blunt trauma
