Hello, I got "PreTest" by Earl Brown Edtion 1999, what do you think about these questions??? There are 6 books of questions about the different subjects for USMLE Step 1, should I do them or just do Kaplan Q-bank? Are these questions still updated? I'll like to hear some coments from you. Thank you.

Junk them. Only useful pretest is Physical Diagnosis and only if you have problems with clinical cases. Since questions in Step 1 are mostly presented in clinical case format, knowing how to diagnose is impt in answering Q's. Why follow my advise? (Surprised why few people ask this question before following advise of complete strangers ) Because 1. I have all six books and read a few questions before dropping it. 2. I've finished Step 1 last April 2006 and have personal experience in type of Questions asked. 3. I Scored 99/256 and therefore seems to be a person who knows what he is saying. (Emphasis on seems) Any way GL on prep.
