Hi, I had couple interviews and after each interview I sent a thank you letter by mail. One of the programs which I liked the most, I have indicated that I will rank them high on my list. Now after almost a month I was thinking to contact my best program and let them know that I will really rank high and I'm very interested in their program. But I'm not sure if this is appropriate and how should I do it? I know that visiting the hospital again may have a good effect, but they are located too far from me and I can't afford another trip. Any suggestion is much appreciated.

Contact them via email or letter about 2 weeks before the match list is closed and expressed your continued interest in the program. It can't hurt.
