A 30-year-old male presents with auditory hallucinations. He says he hears three distinct voices telling him to kill his wife. He also believes that his wife is plotting against him, and has set spies on him, who follow him everywhere. He’s had the above symptoms since the past eight months. His thought process is remarkable for loosening of associations, and his affect is flat. Based on the above information, which one of these would be expected in this patient?

A. Increased ventricular size
B. Increased cerebral mass
C. Increased hippocampal mass
D. Increased temporal mass
